It was so good to see the contestants from the last season performing on the battle’s stage once again and received over whelming response from the audience too!

The episode than started with Bayaan’s performance who choose to sing YehWatan by Mehdi Hassan and gathered some positive comments from the judges this time. Being in the danger zone from the last 3 episodes brought a positive change in their performance for this week which was very melodious and loved by all.Fawad mentioned that it’s really difficult for the new generation to feel the essence of these national songs and there rendition has managed to do so.

21 the band performed the iconic song Hum Hain Pakistani by Vital Signs but failed to impress the judges. The turned the beautiful melody into a rock version which was liked by none, Fawad Khan stated their performance at an audition level one. According to Faisal Kapadia, at this point of competition he expected much more from the band.

Xarb being the top contender for the previous episodes covered Wattankimitti by Nayyara Noor but did not do much for the judges on a whole. To Bilal Maqsood the song was technically fine but the pure essence of the song, the patriotism was missing from their rendition. Faisal Kapadia applauded these guys for trying something different but did not liked their version much.

The last and the most energetic performance was of course by Tamasha, a band which has been on the top since day one and has received a hat trick of standing ovations from the judges, the band performed Issperchamkaysaayetalay in their signature rock style which appealed Misha a lot ending up her stating it as the best for the night, whereas for Khan it was their weakest performance till date.
