ANOTHER FEATHER IN BIN ROYE’s CAPBin Roye becomes the only Pakistani movie screened in Belarus with Russian subtitles. The movie was part of the Pakistani film festival in Minsk which was inaugurated by the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid.

Karachi, September 19, 2015: After successful houseful shows in over 12 countries since its release, Bin Roye becomes the first Pakistani movie to make it to Belarus, a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. Bin Roye was screened on the opening day of Pakistani Film Festival in Minsk, which was inaugurated by the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid. The socio-romantic drama movie by HUM Films & MD Films has not only proved to be a hit amongst audiences from all around the globe but has become a record crusher in the history of Lollywood.The opening ceremony of the Pakistani film festival, held at the Tsentralny cinema house was also attended by Belarus Culture Minister Boris Svetlov, Akhtar Viqar Azeem and other dignitaries who enjoyed the movie thoroughly and appreciated the introduction of Pakistani film in Minsk and hoped that it would help create better understanding between the two cultures.

  
The Information Minister, in his brief remarks, said there was a wide scope of cooperation between the two counties in diverse fields. He said interaction in education, culture and trade would help create better understanding between the two countries and lead to increased economic activity.

  
He expressed hope that the film festival would serve to be the first drop of rain in the cooperation between filmmakers of the two countries. According to him, film is the most powerful mass media tool as it helps remove misconceptions and brings different cultures and nations closer.
